ARTISTRY HOUSE – GENERAL BOOKING AGREEMENT

Effective immediately for all non-bridal appointments

This Booking Agreement outlines the terms and conditions for all services booked with Artistry House. By securing an appointment, the client agrees to the following:

1. Separate Bridal Booking Agreement

Bridal appointments fall under a dedicated Bridal Booking Agreement, available within the bridal pricing list. All bridal bookings must adhere to the bridal-specific terms.

2. Deposits & Payment Terms
  • A non-refundable, non-transferable deposit is required to secure all appointments.

  • Deposits cannot be transferred to decrease the party size within 3 months of the appointment date.

  • The remaining balance is due on or before the appointment date. Artist cannot complete appointment without payment.

3. Location of Services
  • All appointments are held in-studio unless travel has been requested, confirmed, and approved at the time of booking.

  • Travel appointments must be arranged in advance and are subject to artist availability and travel fees.

4. Travel & On-Site Requirements

For all travel appointments, the client agrees to:

  • Cover all parking fees incurred by the artist.

  • Provide safe, clean, and adequate working space, including:

    • A table or bench area

    • Access to power

    • Natural or sufficient artificial lighting

5. Time Management & Punctuality
  • The artist will always aim to arrive and run on schedule; however, Artistry House cannot be held liable for unforeseen delays, including traffic, accidents, or external disruptions outside our control.

  • For in-studio appointments:

    • Clients should arrive 5 minutes early.

    • Arrival more than 15 minutes late may result in cancellation of the appointment without refund of the deposit.

6. Cancellations, No-Shows & Late Notice
  • No-shows are charged the full appointment fee to the card on file

  • Cancellations within 24 hours of the scheduled appointment will incur the full appointment fee (at the discretion of the assigned artist).

  • Deposits are non-refundable for all cancellations.

7. Rescheduling Policy
  • Rescheduling is permitted outside of 1 month, subject to availability.

8. Health, Hygiene & Refusal of Service
  • Artistry House adheres to strict professional hygiene and sanitisation practices for all tools, brushes, and products.

  • Clients must notify the artist in advance if they are sick, contagious, or unwell.

  • The artist reserves the right to refuse service if the client attends the appointment visibly unwell, without prior notice.

    • In this case, the deposit will be forfeited and no refund will be provided.

  • For skin conditions, allergies, or sensitivities, the client must advise prior to the appointment.

9. Liability
  • The artist is not responsible for reactions to products

  • If an emergency prevents the artist from attending, Artistry House will provide a replacement artist where possible or issue a refund of the deposit.

10. Photography & Social Media

Unless otherwise requested in writing, Artistry House may take photos or videos of the completed work for portfolio or social media use. No identifying details will be disclosed without consent.

11. Acceptance of Terms

By paying the deposit or booking an appointment, the client accepts and agrees to all terms outlined in this Booking Agreement.
